A study published in the journalJAMA Internal Medicinethat found that a shortage of doxycycline for dogs could increase the costs of some antibiotics. A spokesperson for the Department of Defense, the military’s military health department, said in a statement that the doxycycline shortage had been brought on by “multiple factors.”
